Q: mail does not print addresses

Hi,I have just come off the phone with Apple support. They have spent a lot of time on this but are unable to come up with a solution.

Mail: The headers appear like this

Apple appleid@.apple.com - (This line in Bold other lines grey)

To:.............@ntlworld.com

Reply-To:appleid_gben@email.apple.com

Your Apple ID information has been updated

But print like this:

Apple-(This line in Bold)

Note no addresses are printed  although they are there faintly in the print preview. Also the fact that original on screen text is faint makes it very difficult for my wife to see as she has sight problems.

This is not a printer problem as printing from my webmail is fine.

This has been going on for a long time prior to updating to Elcapitan.

macbook pro os 10.11.6 /mail Version 9.3 (3124)

Any ideas much appreciated

Hi, I posted my problem on Streetlife my local social network and it has been solved. Dmitriy suggested it could be a problem with the ink cartridges. I only use the black cartridge and always print Fast Draft. I changed the printer pre set to Black and White and it printed the addresses! They are still faint as they are on screen and in print preview(don't know why this is) but at least do print now.
