Sep 5, 2016 11:42 AM in response to Rudegarby my.name.is.Kay,True Rudegar. However, this is not the case. Hotmail supports emoticons. I just verified that emoticons are displayed correctly when I use Outlook App on my iPhone. I think the issue is from the native iOS mail app.

Send me a test email with the emoticons which you think are not showing correct (tom at bluesky dot org) and I will try to find the problem.
The most likely reason for question marks would be that the emoticons are only recently approved and recipients fonts are not yet updated to include them, but the only way to tell is to see what is being sent.

i don't think the issue is related to newly approved emoticons,, I noticed the issue with any emoticon, AND only when the email is sent through native iOS app. As I mentioned in my last post, emoticons shows perfectly while using Outlook app on my iPhone.
