Q: Sync Time Capsule with External Hard Drive

Hi, I use my Time Capsule as a primary hard drive to store my files, as my Mac Book Air's hard drive space is so too small.  What is the best way to backup and sync my Time Capsule with an external hard drive?

    Connect a USB drive that has been formatted for Mac to the Time Capsule and use Carbon Copy Cloner or ChronoSync to set up automatic backups on a schedule that you choose from the Time Capsule to the USB drive.

     

    The first backup to the USB drive will copy over all the data on the Time Capsule. After that, each subsequent backup will only copy over any changes that have occurred on the Time Capsule drive since the last backup.
