Try with this third party app ☞ iFunbox, the app is compatible with Windows 10.
I use also iBridge Mobile Memory, the best solution for mobile storage.

Sep 6, 2016 5:46 AM in response to helicesby RobertBab,There is another option, you can use google photos and they give you unlimited storage (I believe) and you can access the photos from any device that is logged into your google account.

Sep 6, 2016 6:04 PM in response to helicesby KiltedTim,You can only import photos and videos that are in the camera roll. If the photos you're referring to are in other albums, then they can't be imported to your computer directly. They had to come from someplace else to get on your phone in the first place and should (hopefully) still be there. Otherwise, you'll have to save them individually to your camera roll and then import them.

Sep 6, 2016 6:15 PM in response to Raicyaby helices,Both versions are free and useful for what I want to do.
Yesterday, I found SyncIOS, which is also free and found all of my photos.

Sep 6, 2016 6:18 PM in response to KiltedTimby helices,No.
All 2547 photos were taken with this iphone and are in "All Photos" - recognized by my iphone.
As mentioned in replies Raicya, I found SyncIOS which found and exported all photos; and both versions of Ifunbox did also.
It's sad that there is so much misinformation on Apple sites. This should be a free, no-brainer.

When asking questions here, to avoid a duplication of effort, it is best to explain, at the outset, any steps that you have already tried.
This is as much for your benefit (receiving constructive suggestions) as for the benefit of those who may invest time and effort in trying to help you.
