Q: Headphones won't pair

I Have a brand new Apple Watch and I'm not able to pair my Bluetooth headphones to it.

Is there an issue with some brands not being compatible?

Not that I am aware of but do you have any music loaded on the Watch?

Have the headphones been paired with your iPhone?

HI!  Yes and yes. I have a playlist added to the watch and the Bluetooth headphones ive been using with my 6plus.   the headphones are "Uldum" purchased through Amazon and i can't find out much about them.   just wasn't sure where the issue was.

They are probably auto connecting to your iPhone before you can pair them with your Watch. Temporarily turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone, put the BT headphones in pairing mode and pair them with your Watch.

Thanks... I'll try that again... I did everything I could think of but they just don't show up on the watch.   So I started looking around at different headphones (ones that absolutely say they are compatible with the watch) but the good ones are pretty pricey and I didn't want to have to go there lol...

Thank you for your help so far... I will keep trying.

    Hi

Check that you have placed your Bluetooth headphones into discovery / pairing mode.

It may help to unpair your headphones from your iPhone before pairing them with your watch; instructions are available here:

When pairing them to your watch, check also that you are following the instructions here:

It may also help, when trying to pair your headphones with your watch, to move both devices to a different location (further away from any other Bluetooth devices that may be active) and to try again there.

Hi Jonathan... thank you, I've honestly done all those things.  It's very strange and I'm thinking there's just no hope in getting them to pair.   Funny too because my watch will pick up a 'sound plate' we have for our TV and sometimes it's not even in the same room that I'm in.  So at least we know the watch is doing what it's supposed to do, but I'm really thinking it's the headphones.

Weird as they connect quickly to my Iphone 6plus so I thought they'd be fine for the watch.

Thank you for your response in trying to help.
