Q: Logic Pro X - Why are my plugins opening in controls mode now and how do I fix it?

I recently had to reinstall Logic Pro X because I replaced my HD and went with the clean install option.  Now, I'm not sure why (there have been other bugs and minor issues that have since been resolved or went away as well, like my laptop is getting used to the new SSD, if that makes sense), but all of my instruments and effects plugins now open in controls mode (the interface with just the switches) instead of editor mode (the graphic interface).

It's not a huge problem, other than it can slow me down when I'm constantly having to switch back every time I open a plugin.  Correct.  They do not stay in editor mode once.  Once I pull one up, switch it and close it, it apparently doesn't remember because I have to switch it back again every time.  So, not only is it annoying, but it's to the point to where it's really beginning to hinder my production.

Any thoughts?  Ideas?  Has anybody ever had/heard of somebody who's had this or a similar issue at all?

Thanks,

Matt H.
