Q: EtreCheck - Does This Mean Anything?

Basically ran EtreCheck just to see if anything looked bad and this was the only thing that came up.

Cannot find this .plist file.

Does this "error"mean anything I need to troubleshoot?

In order to answer your question properly, you are going to have to post the entire report instead a single line.

Firefox is crashing. Try quitting it. Move the file to your Desktop, restart the computer, and see if a new, working file is generated. If yes, delete the file from your Desktop. If not, return the file to where you got it from.

Which file do I move to the desktop? Firefox (the app?) or something else? If something else, what's the path to find it?

I have a question re. your WD external drive's drivers - why do you have those installed? A properly formatted external hard drive does not require any drivers. And, I don't know what this is: rogueamoeba.InstantOn - do you need that? The reason for my question is because you have excessive RAM page ins (22 GB??) - I've not seen anything that high. As well, you are running the latest OS on an older machine with 6 GB RAM (4 GB is generally considered the minimum).

I have no Western Digital externals - only one MiniStack from OWC. So I have no idea what those drivers are or wher they might be located. Can you tell me and can I delete them?

Have no idea what or where Rogueamoeba is or where it is located.

I have 6GB ram and that's what this old iMac supports.

Having said as much - what's my issue and how do I fix it?

If you use Audio HiJack frequently you can leave it installed for now.

As far as the Western Digital files. they are right where the report says they are…

You should limit the number of items that load at startup and the number of apps you run at one time. You don't have the RAM to run that many.

Ah, dialabrain beat me to it: you don't have enough RAM coupled with an older/slower processor to do everything at the same time - try to quit apps you don't need for a while and only have one or two open at the same time. Although Apple changed the memory management, this is still some reasonably good info - check out your Activity Monitor:

And, did you at any time install a new hard drive? Checking because you normally should not need SMC fan control.

smc fan control is the only item that is a startup item.

I'm actually experiencing no issues (other than some occasional sluggishness when too many apps are open - and that I fully understand) - if you go back to my initial post I saw a .plist that was flagged as "failed"; it is apparently low level, and I cannot locate it and want to know where it is, and if I can find it, want to know can I delete it?

    It is:

    Problem System Launch Daemons: ℹ️

        [failed]    com.apple.logd.plist

Yes - this old iMac is and has been a charm and runs OK for use at home - it is not my workhorse! But it will probably become a thing for the guest bedroom sooner than later ....

But not to digress - what is EtreCheck telling me?

what it is telling you is the file is missing and therefor would be difficult to delete.
