Q: Connecting Apple TV in a hotel

Question has been asked before but without a satisfactory answer, I want to be able to connect my Apple TV when on my travels and in particular in hotels where you have to complete a web page before you get onto their wifi network (I don't really want to negotiate with the front desk and try and get them to understand what a MAC address is).

Has anyone found an (easy) way of doing this or are there any browses yet for the Apple TV that will enable me to do this. Out o curiosity, why have Firefox, Chrome etc launched a browser app!?

Mac OS X (10.6.8), G4, G5 Towers, G3, G4 and Intel PBs, Time Capsule, Apple TV, iPh

Eeven if you did have a browser on your ATV it would not help, because you need to be connected to the hotel network BEFORE you can use the browser to log in.

I'm afraid you have little choice but to deal with the hotel staff, although the written instructions in your room on how to connect to their network might be easier to deal with. Most hotels are able to activate your in-room network from their central, in which case you won't have to sign into it before conn citing your device.
