Q: Hard system crash trying to use Adobe apps

This is stunningly illogical behavior from my MacPro out of nowhere: When I try to use Photoshop to edit a jpeg, or Premiere to export a file, I get an immediate hard crash. I've run First Aid on my boot drive and media drive both, and that turns out fine. Any ideas what this could be?
