Q: iPod Touch 4th gen won't restore.

I have an iPod Touch 4th gen which is in restore mode, however, it will not restore any time I click restore in iTunes it gives me an error about device couldn't start and it just stays on the screen that tells you to plug it into iTunes. Help... I can't get it to get out of restore/recovery mode at all. I'm getting ready to deploy and would like to have my iPod loaded with some music for my trip. If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.6, Newest version of iTunes installed.

"Device could not be found." Is what is says after iTunes attempts to restore and fails.

Try:
- rebooting the computer
- Another USB port
- Another cable
- Try on another computer to help determine if computer or iPod problem

I tried all the above multiple times. I got antsy and went with reiboot and knocked it out of restore mode. Thanks for your time.
