Itunes will not recognize a thumb drive to down load my library tunes.

ITunes used show a thumb drive as as an option to down load my tines form my library so that I can play them in my car audio system of on a radio in my living room. how do I get itunes to see my thumbdrive? I run windows 10,

iPhone 3G, iOS 4.3.2

Leo,

iTunes does not "recognize" a thumb drive in the way that it recognizes an iDevice. However, you can easily add songs from iTunes into a thumb drive. Insert the thumb drive into the computer and open it so it looks like a window. Highlight the songs you want in iTunes, and drag-n-drop them into that window.
