Air printing lost

I'm now unable to air print from either of my iPhone or iPad, apparently since updating to IOS 9.3.5, although it could have been earlier, as I seldom print from either. My printer is a Canon Pixma MG 7550, & I have had no problems with air printing on it in the past. The WLAN setting on the printer list is showing the correct router still, & I have no idea what else to check. The printer is working fine wirelessly from my iMac.

Thank you.

Yes I'm sure they're all on the same network, & had no problems up until yesterday. Wi-fi turned on & showing the correct router address. I've just found that I can't now scan on the printer since my iMac can't find the scanner (it's an all-in-one printer) though it can still find the printer for printing. I'm thinking I haven't got an IOS - iPhone problem, but a dodgy printer. Just off to find the guarantee to see if it's still covered.

Thanks for your reply.

For what it's worth, in case it is the printer at fault (sounds likely), I had HP printers for many years in the LaserJet days. For the past few years, I've used Epson printers and they have worked very well with my Apple gear (Macs and iOS devices). I have no experience with Canon printers.

(I have no financial interest in any of these printer companies).
