Q: I have a Time capsule and i used with win 8.1. Two weeks ago I instaled win 10 and mow I can't use the time capsule disc. Please tell me whow resolve my problem.

    Does the win10 computer connect to the TC via ethernet or wireless?

     

    Failure by wireless is not unexpected.. there are known issues. Test with ethernet and tell me the outcome.

     

    Is it just disk access that is now a problem? Or is internet a problem as well?

     

    Have you installed the airport utility for windows? It does still work.. mostly sort of and can help.

     

    Have you manually mounted the TC disk in windows explorer?

     

    If not try it now.

    Type the address directly into the address bar.

    \\TCipaddress (where TCipaddress is the actual IP address eg by default \\10.0.1.1

    Only I have problems accessing the disk, I can use the internet without problems (with wireless and ethernet).

     

    I have not tried downloading airport, I don't remember having used it when I was win8.1. I will install it and see if it works, otherwise I will try to add the disk using IP (currently I do'nt see in Windows Explorer).
