Q: library over network
In Yosemite 10.10.5, I connect to my NAS over network using AFP.
Currently i'm got my origional iTunes on NAS that i wish to update songs.
I connect to NAS in Finder, however when I open iTunes I see *!* marks... When I go to "Add to library" i see its lost connection so i must authenticate again (not as guest, but as admin, since i need write access to the files)
In finder it also showed no connection... I thought once u connect it was "global" not a per-application basis ...
The only way around this i figured if i checked the box to "Save password in keychain"... This i do not want to do as i beleive it stays connected one initally connected....
Its only iTunes that causes, or maybie certain apps..
Is there a way around this with not needing to save password? Since i do wish to not auto connect always,,, but i wish to keep the current connection upon opening iTunes.
