Had a 2nd gen Apple TV, kids lost remote. Recently bought 3rd gen Apple TV. Kids again lost remote. Installed remote app on phone and worked great on 3rd gen ATV. Powered up 2nd gen ATV and now app is asking to enter 4 digit codes on both ATV's, which I can't because have no remote and app is no longer working while both have power. If I unplug power from 3rd gen it still shows up on app. If I unplug 2nd gen, then I don't need a code on 3rd gen .
