Q: MacBook Pro is not booting

Hi community,

Yesterday my early 2011 MacBook Pro crashed. The screen was Black, but the sound was still working. I was able to restart with the keyboard. The MacBook startet up to a certain point in the loading bar. It always reaches that point. After reaching this point, the Mac switches to a grey screen and stays there. Sometimes the screens switches to blue instead of grey. When it is blue the Mac restarts automatically.

Safe boot, time machine backup, disk Utility does not work. Always stops at the point described above. Even forcing it with the option key to start the internet recovery doesn't work.

Resetting NVRAM and SMC didn't change anything.

Single User Mode says that the drive is okay. The Apple hardware test found the following error: 4HDD/11/40000000:SATA(0,0)

I installed a SSD a year ago, which could cause the problem.

I hope I didn't forget anything.

Thanks for your support!
