Q: How often by hours and age of a SIM Card should it be replaced?

My iPhone 6S touch keyboard is often hit and miss, would a SIM Card replacement be necessary?...When is it proper to change/replace a used one in a 1st year iPhone?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.5, Rose Gold 4.7 inch

The SIM card is for connecting to cellular networks, it has nothing to do with the touch screen or keyboard. There is no reason to ever replace a SIM card unless the card itself is malfunctioning, or your carrier deactivated it.
