Call Log/FaceTime

FaceTime has been logging my calls in the Audio tab, then suddenly stopped three days ago. I can't figure out why, so I need some professional expertise in this area. I don't think my settings have changed, but to be on the safe side, I need to know step-by-step what settings are needed to generate the call log in FaceTime so I can double-check the settings on my iPhone 4s and my iPod Touch 5, which is the primary device I use to check the call history in FaceTime when I'm away from the phone. I've researched it on the Web and found nothing helpful. Both the iPhone and iPod have the latest iOS installed and I'm signed into iCloud on both devices. Both have the same Apple ID.

I'm totally stumped as to what caused the cessation of calls. I'd very much appreciate any and all suggestions. Many thanks in advance!!
