Q: how to connect my windows phone to my macbook ?(app is deleted)

I recently got a windows phone and wanted an alternative way of synching it with my macbook. Everyone says there is a dedicated app in the mac app store but no matter what region I'm in, the app got deleted. I literally can't connect this windows phone to my mac. Can anyone help me?
