Q: Where do photos/videos downloaded from iCloud.com go?

I have turned off iCloud Photos Library and want to download my photos/videos.  Where do they download to?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

In OSX, this is typically the Downloads folder. In Windows, I believe it's where you have designed the various photo folders in the icloud control panel.
