Q: I NEED A LOGIC PRO X DRUM EXPERTS HELP

Hi all ..  Im going nuts here !!!

I have my electric drums hooked up on midi to record live when I am song writing.

what KEEPS happening is  ..

I get about 30 seconds into the track then suddenly  the kit starts losing sound until I can no longer hear what I am doing  and also the recording will be the same ..  it just all starts  fading away.  ( this also happens when i use a keyboard too but not as bad)

I have even gone to the point of replacing my hard drive and NOW  getting a new  mini mac  on full power hoping it would sort itself out. .. I am at my wits end here

the kit is a roland HD 1   which worked fine on  logic 8.

can anyone please help me sort this out
