For some reason over the last few months when ever I am on Facebook, the page with FB freezes. The other tabs work fine so I know it isn't a Safari issue. When I restart the page or reload it, it seems to work fine for a short while but then freezes again shortly after. A couple of other things I noticed is my laptops ram falls drastically. Usually while running I am over 10Gig of ram but when FB freezes, it drops to around 500mb. Also I have an app called little snitch that tells me what apps and when are using bandwidth. When FB freezes the bandwidth also goes to ridiculous levels. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

i've met almost the same problem. Safari doesn't allow smooth scrolling of FB, and eats 100% of CPU while on FB
