Q: iMac and MacBook Pro Photos Error

Sep 6, 2016 7:22 AMby léonie,So I tried grabbing one (individually) and dragging to the desktop and it said "Cannot export DSCXXXX.jpeg because there is no such file" (Even though the photo is right in front of me).
This error message usually means that iPhoto cannot access the original image file. What you are seeing in the iPhoto browser are the thumbnail images. But iPhoto needs to use the original image file you imported to export a version of the file or to edit it. As a test, try to edit one of the photos you cannot export. Does that work, or do you get the same error message about the missing file?
Select the photo in iPhoto's browser and use the command "File > Reveal in Finder > Original file". Is the image file there?
If photos cannot access the original file, it might be a library corruption, or the photos have been removed.

Sep 6, 2016 2:25 PMby LedbyLight,I just upgraded the MacBook Pro to El Capitan. I get this:
I selected an image and tried to locate it and got this:
Show referenced file in Finder is greyed out.
Lastly, I tried repairing the photo library. No difference. It's also worth noting that the photos are very pixelated when I double click them, and they look like blown up thumbnails.
