Q: Cannot Import XML File - Did I export incorrectly?

Hello!!

I am completely new to Final Cut Pro and I thought that I had saved my project file by exporting it as XML, however with all the versions I (thought) I had saved, I keep getting error messages like this:

How do I recover my work?!

I am importing as XML and receiving error message after error message.

It looks like you have missing effects and Motion templates. Is this on a different machine or user?

No the effects are on the same machine... I would understand if I had saved the motion templates to my drive or something, but I saved them directly to the titles gallery (saved to C2 SliceX Adjust). I can see them all still there right now!
