Q: i have ipad. i use it in India. works excellent. i want to buy iphone. pl suggest.

I have an ipad. I use it in India. works excellent.

May I be suggested an iphone (may be an older model) but cheaper than market price.

suggest the original iphone (old model) direct from apple but reduced price in USD.I am in the US now for a month.

Your suggestion will make me buy your older model in coming weeks.

The cheapest you can buy in the US is an iPhone SE. Great for the money and highly recommended.

if you buy an iPhone in usa the warranty will only be valid in usa

If you buy from Apple at an Apple store, you will need to purchase an unlocked device. You will pay the full retail price of the iPhone, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. So be sure to research the total, out the door price.

As mentioned the warranty will not apply in India - iPhone's do not have an international warranty.

If you buy used, be very careful and make certain the device is not Activation Locked to someone else's iCloud ID - Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
