An Apple customer support rep told me that iTunes 12 cannot sync your library with an iPod Classic. They just stopped supporting it. I would really love an official Apple response on this because I have been scouring the internet for a solution. Instead of people wasting hours of their time with pointless troubleshooting, just come out and tell us. I need to know whether that tech I spoke with was correct and Apple has actually withdrawn support for the Classic starting with iTunes 12?
