Q: Boot Camp Assistant failed to recognize Win 10 ISO

So I got this error message when I try to create a boot camp disk using the ISO I downloaded yesterday directly from Microsoft website. I'm using OS Sierra 10.12 Beta (16A294a)

You can see in the file name of the ISO I used matches all the required specs. I don't know how exactly Boot Camp Assistant detects the ISO types but is there a way to bypass that detection or make it correct? Any help will be appreciated

Your ISO is most likely block-corrupt when it was downloaded over a Wireless network. Can you post the MD5Sum of the ISO?

What is the year/model of your Mac? Please disconnect all external storage, if you are using a 2015 or later Mac.

I believe you are right! I downloaded the ISO again using an Ethernet cable, the ISO file now works! I compared two files, the first one downloaded is 200mb smaller than the one I just downloaded. The MD5 of the second ISO is 566354bc12d351693db22d830baa764e

Please back up OS X and Windows, and create a Windows System Restore point.
