Q: Solution for Pages not hyphenating (El Capitan)

If Pages does not hyphenate your text in spite of checking the "hyphenation" checkbox then set a few margins to 0 and … BOOOM … Pages starts to hyphenate!

This is a crazy "Windows" workaround.

Sign of the times?

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

If you select your text, and justify it; select hyphenation in the Document panel, and uncheck Prevent widow & orphan lines in the Format Panel : More tab — presto, the text will show hyphenation. No need to change margins.
