Q: Cannot delete items in documents and data for each app

I want to delete the junk files in several apps under General > Storage and iCloud usage > manage storage, but the documents and data section for respective apps refuses to function.

I've it several times but it's not working.

Can anyone help me?

    Explain what you are doing and what happens when you try to delete the data.

    Wwhen I get to manage storage section and choose an app, two buttons appear.

    1. Documents and data button. This button is not functioning. When I apply pressure or swipe it, nothing happens.

    2. Delete app button. This button is working. It brings up another box when I apply pressure on it.

    Can you explain why documents and data isn't working and how to fix it?

    This function was changed a while back. Previously you could delete the data and documents from most Apple apps and some third party apps. Now unless "Data and Documents" slide to the left and delete appears you can't delete D and D without deleting the whole app.

    This is a screenshot of what I see on my iPad when I go to Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>iCloud>Manage Storage>Documents & Data>Cardiograph>Delete All. If I tap on Delete All it should remove the data from the devixe and from iCloud.

     

    Do you see the same thing, but the Delete All button isn't working?
