Q: Alert for missed messages and calls

My Adroid had a feature I miss: a small green light that let me know a message was waiting. Now I have to turn on the iphone to find out. I have activated the LED flash alert, but it doesn't stay on, and it's on the back of the phone, so that's not as good. Have I missed a feature somewhere?

No. That's not a feature of the iPhone

No, you have not. There is no LED indicator for missed calls and messages, and the LED flash only activates when you receive an alert. It does not continue until you acknowledge the alert.

Note: you can set your iPhone to repeat the audible alert for Messages up to 10 times or until you look at the message. Settings>Notifications>Messages>Repeat Alerts

Thank you for the replies. I have submitted my feature request to feedback, and set the alert repeat to 3 for now.
