I have a mid-2010 iMac, 21.5 inch with 3.06GHz Core i3 processor and 12Gb RAM running El Capitan .6 release. (10.11.6)
Over the last 6 months or so it's been crashing periodically, I haven't found a specific cause as yet and need some help deciphering the logs.
WindowServer seems to commonly be recorded in the logs and at times when the iMac locks up.
The mouse still moves, no beachball but the Finder, Dock and Desktop are all unresponsive to clicks and keyboard input.
I've wiped and restored from Time Machine backup and that made crashes less frequent but they still happen.
Any ideas what I should be looking for? (I've even carefully uninstalled old and unused low level software where I could - drivers and the like without benefit)
