Q: Dead watch - apple service repair request to send in - no address?

This is bizarre - we have a dead watch and filled out online forms to send it in - the service request went in - but no email was sent and no form, no shipping label, no instructions or web page to tell us where to send it to!???

Our "Repair Status" is stuck at  - Step 1: Request

What's going on?  The UI for service is horrible.  No idea what's going on.  No idea where to send it.  A 1 week wait for "permission" just to take it into a local store and even drop it off for repair.  The bloat and bureaucracy is palpable - I've used Apple products for 32 years but if I were a 1st time user (like my husband), this experience would drive me away!

    Hi ...

Sorry you're going through such a hassle.

At this point it might be better to contact Apple directly >  Contact - Official Apple Support

    Or on Twitter:   @AppleSupport

Don't forget to follow the instructions for getting your watch ready for service here >  Apple Watch Service Answer Center - Apple Support

Thanks Carolyn.  For whatever reason the UI doesn't say anything AT ALL about the process.  No instructions.  It just enters a repair request and lets you sit there on a useless screen showing "service requested".  Strange!!

I got on chat and found out - there will be a product return kit mailed to us.  The website should have said this.  There should have been an auto generated email/acknowledgement that also said this.  Nothing.  :-(

Anyway thanks for the suggestion to go over and prod them for an answer.  Someone needs to look at the UI though.  It's either broken or they've let Microsoft rogue agents take over.
