Q: Recovering phone numbers

About two weeks ago I accidentally deleted a phone number from my contacts.  I have looked to see if it is saved on my iCloud or back up but can't see it. I don't want to try and restore the phone from previous save as think I might loose stuff that's on my phone now. Anyone know if there's anyway I can find it?? It's an iPhone 6

    If you telephoned that person, or that person telephoned you, and you recall the date and time of that conversation, then the number would be in your cellular carrier's records.  You could likely find it online.

     

    The same is true if an SMS (or MMS) text message was sent or received.
