Q: Are Macbook Pro keys replacable?
Hello Macbook Pro Discussions,
I was wondering if it was possible to replace the keys on an MBP. I was thinking about switching to DVORAK keyboard layout as it is not officially supported by Apple. An Apple Store Specialist informed me that the keys of the Apple Magic Keyboard (new and old) can not be replaced. I know it is possible to buy a skin for the keys to change them, but I would prefer to keep the same key feel that made me use an Apple keyboard even when I had a Windows/Linux PC.
Thanks ~ Bryce

Hello Bryce,
I haven't tried to do that with an external keyboard, but I don't see why you couldn't. People sell replacement keys (http://www.thebookyard.com/apple_keycaps.php).
The only risk is, being plastic keys, is that they will break. I suggest buying a cheap used keyboard (https://eshop.macsales.com/search/keyboard) and trying it on that.
