You can enable, "mouse keys" so the pointer can be controlled using the keyboard number pad.
And you can change the Double-click speed from that same pane.

Sep 6, 2016 7:52 PM in response to BreenieShayeby John Galt,I strongly recommend using a Magic Trackpad instead. You can use its "tap to click" setting which requires no force at all. For some reason that option is not available with the Magic Mouse.

The Magic Trackpad will work with your iMac. You can even use it and your Magic Mouse, both at the same time.
