updating safari

I am trying to use log me in but it gives me the message I need to update to latest version of Safari, I don't know how to do it because when I go to update it says it is up to date please advise

iPad Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

The only way to update Safari on a Mac running v10.6.8 is to upgrade your Mac to the newest OS X El Capitan.

LogMeIn (for iOS on your iPad) on the App Store

Try a different browser altogether... I am a very satisfied user of Firefox (it has worked fine for pages that have barked about Safari versions for others)
