Q: Iphone 6 completely blacked out while updating

Hello Apple family,

I was updating my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS update as of 7/09/16. There was the usual black apple against the white background, and after the update finished, my screen blacked out. My iphone was at 25% while I updated, and I was charging it with a wall plug. I have tried restarting the iphone by pressing the home and lock buttons for 20secs multiple time but it still will not boot up at all. Im facing an iphone with a blacked out screen. What should I do next? I have not backed up my iphone for months so I am really scared to lose the things that are on my phone : ( please help!!!!!
