Q: iCloud Drive - PC files won't upload

Hi,

I'm having trouble backing up my files from my Windows 10 laptop to iCloud Drive.

I've installed it and signed in ok. I can see iCloud Drive in the explorer and have dragged and dropped my backup folder (approx 22GB).

I've tried this a few times and have restarted my laptop, called Apple Support (no solution so far).

What happens is the folders seem to be uploaded when accessed through my iPhone (IOS 9) but only some and not all files are actually there (approx 5GB is taken up when I look at iCloud and "other documents").

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Is it that it is just taking a really long time to upload? If so, how can this be speeded up? I've left my laptop one for several days trying to do this.

Thanks

Is it possible that you have exceeded your iCloud storage limit?  See:

    Especially the section:

What types of files can I store in iCloud Drive?

You can store any type of file in iCloud Drive, as long as it's less than 15 GB in size and you don't exceed your iCloud storage limit. There's no restriction on file type, so you can keep all of your work documents, school projects, presentations, and more up to date across all of your devices.
