Q: Ipad mini 2
My wife's ipad 2 mini, which she has used for some years, suddenly locked up and requested "activation code". This happened whilst reading FaceBook.
We inputed the apple id account details, but this was rejected as being "incorrect ID". All the apps on this ipad have been purchased through our apple account, which was the id used.
On our other apple phones, ipads etc it is listed on "find my ipad" but is listed as being "off line", even though it is on!
Two questions: 1 is it possible that when the ipad was originally set up, we inadvertently used a different activation code, but have purchased all apps under our family account? In which case we will have to try to remember what it could be.
2 what are the other possibilities?
