Q: Battery drainage iPhone 6
Hi all!
My iPhone 6 was working perfectly one day with no battery issues, then one night I went to bed and placed my phone on charge at 16%. After a few hours I woke up and my phone seemed to be stuck charging at 18% and felt really hot. I powered my phone off and on and placed it back on charge and it carried on charging fine. Since then, the battery is draining rapidly quick; it seems to go down 1% every 2 minutes. I left it for a few hours not on charge and not in use and it drained 50%. I went out for a meal and left the house on 100% and it had died 2 hours later. I've changed settings to optimise battery life but this hasn't made any difference. If I'm listening to music it will drain about 40% in 40 minutes. I'm aware battery life isn't great on these models but this is ridiculous. I used maps for half an hour and it drained 20% even though it was on charge! It seems to be overheating a lot as well. Whilst I don't get a temperature notification, it just feels hot to the touch. I'm at a loss at what it could be or what to do.
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Georgia
