My wife has an iPhone 6. Recently the phone has stopped ringing or giving text notifications. Also have no sound in most apps. Speakers are working as it can still play sound for music and videos. Have checked all I know to check in do not disturb settings and sound settings. The mute toggle switch also does not appear to be working (nothing shown on screen when you switch it back and forth).
There is possible water damage, but cannot verify (the kids had it for awhile ). But I would think that if something like that were a problem, the sound would not work at all.
