Any plans for iOS to get "play voice over phone calls" option in Google Maps?

Is currently available on Android but not iOS...would be a very helpful feature to have.

Curious if anyone happens to know whether iOS will get it. (Google Maps forums were not helpful)

no idea and we can not speculate here.

the broadcast from Apple is on now so if they do announce it you will know when the rest of us do.
