Q: Print to Video

I'm trying to put a copy of my edited timeline back on my Canon HV20 but it won't record on my camera.  I'm using

firewire 800 that I used to capture earlier.  I go to print to video and check automatically start recording, hit OK and

then again to start recording.   The timeline comes up on my computer screen but nothing happens on my camera

which is set to camera mode.  I know FCE is recognizing my camera because I went to Capture and it started to

record.  Any Ideas?

Another problem I had was a few of my picts in a long slideshow would turn sideways for no reason.  I got it corrected

but it was a lot of trouble.  What would cause this?

Thanks.

<nothing happens on my camera which is set to camera mode>

If the camera is set to 'camera' mode' it is acting like a camera and will try to record through the lens.  Check the camera's settings for line-in or IEEE1394 (aka Firewire or DV) input recording.

By the way, is there any specific reason to record the HDV footage back to tape?
