Q: Are series 1 and 2 straps interchangeable?

I have lots of Apple watch straps including a custom one. If I upgrade to a series 2 watch will my straps still be usable?

To be clear, Series 1 does not refer to your existing watch.

 

It instead refers to a new Apple Watch model that has the same features as the original Apple Watch, except for a new dual core processor.

 

All Apple bands for existing / original Apple Watch models will fit all new models (Seres 1 and Series 2) of the same case size (38mm or 42mm).

    Hi

     

    Yes - all existing (ie from when Apple Watch was first launched) and new Apple Watch straps will fit any other Apple Watch of the same case size - including the new Series 2 models.
