Q: Calendar for work week

How do I set an alert for a WORK event, only Monday thru Friday?

THat is what my daughter said I should do. But uit should be as simple as having adding a setting called WORK DAYS. So you would have daily, weekly, work day,  monthy and yearly.

    on an iPhone 6. On the Calendar. I would like to have an event calld BACKUP so I can be rememberd to do backup of my accounting computer every WORK day, Monday thru Friday only. Right now I only can set it daily-Monday thru Sunday.   I don't want the alarm on a Sunday.

     

    Please help.

    Natively you can't do it.

     

    One work around with the native built in app is to make 5 appointments, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday and have them repeat on a weekly basis.

     

    Or if you have access to outlook or another calendar program that allows for a 'every weekday' repeat you can make the appointment there, export from that program and mail it to yourself, open that mail on your iPad and save it and the ipad calendar program should respect that repeat.

     

    or you can look for a third party calendar app that allows for the repeat and use that
