changed passed word on Facebook, now I keep getting message Facebook password require. Can't connect too the account. Yet I can get on facebook. just cannot seems to get this message to go away. put in password and it says
unable to verify account name or password

I just had the same problem -
If you try to use your new password when you get a "notification window" with that "Can't connect to the account" error, it doesn't work, but I got it to work using these steps :
1: open "System Preferences"
2: open "Internet Accounts"
3: click on "Facebook"
4: click on "Details..." (should be to the right hand side of your name and email address for your FaceBook account)
5: enter your new password -
you should now get a message saying that you'll get an SMS with a temporary code.
6: use the code from the SMS and it should work again
