My iPhone was stolen with find my iPhone on. My data is always on for connection. As soon as I got home, my phone was still ringing for 2 hours , but my phone said offline from the beginning. How is this possible if calls were going through?

MY iPhone was stolen with cellular data and find my iPhone on. When I used the app it said my phone was offline, but continued to ring for two houremaining after? How is this possible?

How do you know the phone was ringing? If you could hear it ringing then it probably wasn't stolen. The rising you hear in the earpiece of the phone your own when you call another phone has very little to do with what happens on the other end.
