Q: Windows 10 Sound Not Working.

I finally was able to successfully install Windows 10 on My iMac Late 2011 21.5 inch. Everything is working fine, the keyboard and everything, BUT THERE IS NO SOUND, yes, I have installed the latest Boot Camp Drivers to my USB and repaired/installed them multiple times, YES, I have the latest OSX right now, what else can I do this is very frustrating everytime I press the volume buttons they give me Circle with a line thru it symbol and I can't do anything about it, Please help, I will provide any information necessary.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

You 2011 Mac does not officially support Windows 10. However, you can upgrade from W7/W8.1 to W10. It preserves the BIOS/MBR installation that is necessary for Sound to work.

You will need to get to W7 to be able to upgrade to W10. The W10 Iso burnt to DVD should work on W7. Check Control Panel and verify whether you have 32-bit to 64-bit Vista.

Can you start a CMD window with Admin rights, and run the 32-bit .exe file and check for any error messages?

I deleted the windows vista partition, but now when I try to install it says only windows 7 and above can be installed, I have no idea how it worked last time

Disconnect all external storage, run SMC and NVRAM reset and try again.

nahh im done with this sh*t, thanks for your help but i rather just used a virtual machine its easier, only reason i really wanted to use bootcamp was because i can boot straight into windows, so its faster. How do i close threads?
