Q: mid-2012 macbook pro (el capitan) wifi issues

hi all, I have a mid-2012 macbook pro that recently upgraded to el capitan. My wifi keeps booting me off every 2-3 minutes.

I tried this: http://osxdaily.com/2015/10/16/fix-wi-fi-problems-mac-os-x-el-capitan/

and nothing changed.

Reset my router and firmware. Nobody else in my house is having issues. tried my neighbor's wifi and same issues.

Any help would be so appreciated.
