Q: Every time I try to download update, it downloads, and wen I click install, it says to try again later?

Ive been trying to download a software update for a while now, and though I can and have downloaded the update, when I am prompted to "install" the update, a white box pops up that says "verifying update" for about 5 minutes and then another box pops up notifying me that the update could not be installed at this time and I can either try again or have it remind me to do it later. I have tried both options. I'm always connected to wifi and plugged in when I try to update. I have reset my phone multiple times. this has been going on for about a month with no luck of updating. Someone help!!

    I understand from your post that you are unable to update your iPhone software. I know how important it is for your iPhone to have the most recent software update. It sounds like you are trying to update the software via Wi-Fi, but the process is stalled. I recommend using iTunes to update the software. If you do not have one already, make sure to create a backup with iTunes or iCloud first. I have highlighted the steps from the following article for you below: 

    Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Update your device using iTunes

    If you can’t update wirelessly on your iOS device, you can update manually using iTunes on a computer that you trust. If your computer is using Personal Hotspot on the iOS device that you’re updating, connect your computer to a different WiFi or Ethernet network before you update.

      1. Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
      2. Connect your device to your computer.
      3. Open iTunes and select your device.
      4. Click Summary, then click Check for Update. 
      5. Click Download and Update.
